Rental Guidelines & Prohibited Materials
Loading Level & Weight Instructions
To ensure safe transport and compliance with disposal regulations, customers are responsible for loading their dumpster properly. All roll-off boxes must be loaded evenly and level—nothing can extend above the max load line clearly marked on each container.
Certain materials may not be loaded into any dumpster, including:
Concrete, dirt, rocks, brick, asphalt, and stucco
Heavy inert materials that exceed safe hauling limits
Overweight or improperly loaded dumpsters create safety hazards. Loads that exceed weight limits may be:
Dumped and reloaded at the customer’s expense, or
Assessed a surcharge of up to $50 per ton over normal tonnage charges.
Hard-to-Handle & Hazardous Materials
For safety and compliance, the following items are strictly prohibited:
Liquids, oils, paint, toxic materials, and hazardous waste
Batteries, explosives, pressurized containers of any kind
Items restricted by City, State, or Federal agencies
Certain bulky or special items may be accepted but are subject to additional fees at disposal facilities. These include:
Appliances
Tires
Televisions and computer monitors
Non-friable asbestos
Telephone poles and railroad ties
Agricultural waste
Disposal fees typically range from $5 to $270 per item.
Important: When disposing of appliances, please load these items last, so they remain visible to the driver for safe handling.
